AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS
Air source heat pumps (ASHPs) extract heat from the outside air to heat your home and hot water.

They are an incredibly efficient heating method as they transfer heat rather than generating it, efficiencies can exceed 300%, compared to around 90% for an A rated gas boiler.
They have the benefit of being compact, take up no space inside your property and are easier and more cost-effective to install than Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHPs).

ASHPs are eligible for the Government Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
BOILER UPGRADE SCHEME (BUS)
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) supports the decarbonisation of heat in buildings. It provides upfront capital grants to support the installation of heat pumps and biomass boilers in homes and non-domestic buildings in England and Wales.
Acting on behalf of property owners, we, as certified installers, can apply for £7,500 off the cost and installation of an air source heat pump or ground source heat pump.
£450 million of grant funding is available over three years from 2022 to 2025.
